I am qualified in Nutrition and weight management and I will teach you what to eat and when to eat it. I don't believe in diets. How can one plan work for everybody? Each and every one of us is unique in the activity we do, our metabolic rates and our dietary requirements.
 
You may well be familiar with the term Glycaemic Index but have no idea what it means? Basically we need to stabilise our blood sugar levels throughout the day. Doing this will help you to lose weight and help you to feel more energised. It is important to snack (healthily!) throughout the day in order to  prevent lethargy and stop those hunger pangs.
 
There are also many 'hidden' ingredients in foods which can make you feel bloated or cause your body to become sluggish. Many foods that contain no or low fat contain so much sugar that if left unused will turn into fat. I will help you to read food labels so you actually realise what you are eating and your attempts at being healthy are not in vain. 
 
The most effective way to lose weight is to eat healthily and to exercise. These two things together have been proven over the years. Dieting leads to a decrease in your body's metabolic rate (the rate at which you burn calories) and as soon as you eat normally again you will put weight on. Stop yo-yo dieting and keep the weight off for good.
