There are many factors that affect your capabilities in sport ranging from fitness, lactate threshold and posture to
flexibility, nutrition, core strength and stability. Not all of us our born with the genes to be an olympian but with
the correct training and nutrition there is no reason why we can't be at our peak.
When we start I will do a VO2 max test which measures your body's ability to utilise oxygen. I will also carry out
tests such as lung function, flexibility, muscle endurance and bodyfat.These results will tell me where we are starting
from and will be a great base to begin the sessions.
I have competed in and coached various sports to date and would welcome the chance to pass my knowledge and experience
onto you. I played county Badminton when I was at school, rowed for Oxford City Rowing club and represented my school and
university in basketball. My greatest achievement to date was coming 6th in the London Triathlon in 2005. I
am also a qualified Volleyball (EVA) and Netball (AENA) coach.
I have trained myself and others to compete in many challenges from 5km runs and L'equipe d'tal to hiking in the
Himilayas and climbing Kilimonjaro. I currently train a Triathlete and some novice marathon runners.
